Our story · Est. 2021

We made the platform we wished existed.

Ecoflix Foundation began with a simple question: what if 100% of every conservation dollar actually reached the people doing the work? This is how we answered it.

⊕ 18.79°N · 98.98°E · Field log no. 001
"Chiang Mai, Thailand · 2019. A rescued elephant at Save Elephant Foundation. The visit that changed everything." — The founding journey
Six years, one trajectory

From one elephant to forty-seven NGOs.

Every Ecoflix milestone is geolocated. These are the field stamps from the journey — the moments that turned a question into a foundation.

  1. ⊕ Departure · 18.7°N 98.9°E 2019

    The founder visit.

Filmmaker and conservationist David B. Casselman spends a week at Save Elephant Foundation in Chiang Mai. Returns convinced the gap isn't awareness — it's the funnel from screen to sanctuary.

  2. ⊕ Found · 34.0°N 118.2°W 2021

    Foundation incorporated.

Ecoflix Foundation files as a US 501(c)(3) not-for-profit. The model: every donation passes through 100%; founders cover overhead separately.

  3. ⊕ First film · 50.4°N 0.1°W 2022

    Free Billy releases.

A documentary on the last orca in captivity launches. Three partner NGOs come on. First $250K routed to the field.

  4. ⊕ Expand · 0.0° 25.0°E 2023

    20 partners across 4 continents.

Roster grows: Conserv Congo, Whale Sanctuary Project, Libearty, Mercy For Animals. The cartograph thickens.

  5. ⊕ Proof · 47.0°N 8.0°E 2024

    First independent audit.

Charity Navigator-style assessment confirms 100% pass-through. Featured in BBC Earth, The Guardian, National Geographic.

  6. ⊕ Now · 5 continents 2025

    64 NGOs. $698K+ routed.

The platform you're on today. A growing global network with one promise that hasn't moved an inch: every dollar in, a dollar out.

The people behind it

Founders and fieldworkers.

People who'd spent careers in conservation, film, and law — and decided the funnel between them shouldn't leak.

The model, in three moves

Watch. Give. Track.

It's the same loop today as it was on day one. The whole point of the foundation is that the loop never breaks — and you can see it the whole way through.

01 · Watch

Films that move you.

A streaming channel of documentaries made by conservationists, not advertisers. No paywalls between you and the story. Watch on any device, no signup, free forever.

02 · Give

100% pass-through.

Every donation lands in full at one of 64 partner NGOs. Independently audited. Founders cover platform overhead separately so your gift never gets nibbled at.

03 · Track

Where it actually went.

Each project page shows the work funded, the team running it, and the receipts. No black-box wire transfers — the chain of custody is published, in plain English.

What's next

Help us keep building.

Five years in, the model works. Every new donor extends the runway. Every new partner extends the map.
