Connected Planet Foundation’s mission is to connect people to themselves, each other and to the planet, by providing opportunities for people and communities to experience the wonders of the natural world, whilst also helping to conserve it. In doing so we aim to create the next generation of nature enthusiasts and conservationists.
We cannot expect communities to be actively involved in the conservation of wildlife and wild spaces if they have no connection to that wildlife. Despite living alongside stunning wildlife reserves and National Parks, communities across Africa have very little access to these places or the wildlife that call them home.
Through educational game drives, wilderness camps and environmental education exclusively for the community, we aim to connect people to the wildlife that they live alongside, whilst empowering them to protect what is truly theirs. We believe everyone should be able to experience the beauty of nature and everyone should have the chance to conserve it.
