Wild For Life Foundation

About our NGO partner

The Wild For Life Foundation (WFLF) is best known for the work we do on behalf of at-risk horses and burros. However, since founding in 2008, WFLF has brought landmark attention, inspired growing support and positive change for the benefit of a variety of animal species from elephants, to wolves, to seals, and equines both nationally and internationally through multimedia education. At WFLF, our flagship mission is to protect the lives of wild equines as part of the natural ecosystem and educate people about the need for their preservation in the wild. We also provide sanctuary for at-risk wild and domestic equines in need.

At WFLF’s Lifetime Equine Refuge, orphaned, distressed, injured, or displaced horses and burros get a second chance at life, and are able to thrive and live out their lives in peace.

Through WFLF’s SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES Initiative we strive to raise compassion and provide educational programming that promotes humane wild horse preservation with a focus on the prevention of equine cruelty and ending the slaughter of America’s horses. SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES A NATION BETRAYED is a landmark award winning documentary presented by WFLF. The film spotlights the dangerous expulsion of America’s equines from public lands, the predatory exploits of commercialized slaughter, the torturous suffering of these animals, the imminent health risks to humans, and the environmental impact caused by a perverse horse slaughter trade. The film brings to light how the public has been misled by government agencies and special interest groups that run over the laws that are supposed to protect the horses, people and the environment.
