The Backyard Bears

‘The Backyard Bears’ is a story of Human-Bear conflict with Black Bears in Lake Tahoe, CA/NV. This film takes you on a journey into the Bears’ lives throughout the year as humans encroach on their habitat. Bouncing back and forth between the wildland bears and urbanized bears, you get an idea into what life for these bears should be like, vs what is rapidly becoming the unfortunate normal urban lifestyle for black bears in mountain towns and communities around the world.
