Spirit of the Mountains

A comprehensive film is about the snow leopards that live in the magnificent high-altitude desert habitat of Himachal Pradesh’s Spiti Valley.The narrative of the film follows Karma, the dominant male animal and his harem of few females. Filmed over five years, a coherent story is told with unique sequences of scent-marking, courtship, mating and a wild den with two young cubs.
